Team GamerCrates,

Today, I am announcing that we will officially be closing GamerCrates. I launched this company in 2014, when I was a sophomore in high school. It has been quite the journey growing from just three subscribers in our first month to members in dozens of countries across the world. In 2016, we were able to move the company out of my bedroom and into our own office space. I have been able to travel across the United States to different events, getting the opportunity to meet some of you in person. I have enjoyed every second of my time with GamerCrates. However, it is time for me to move on to something new. I love the grind of business development and the esports industry, but it's time for me to leave the subscription box space.

I want to thank all of our customers, partners, and fans for sharing your GamerCrates experience with friends and family to help us create a community across the globe. Very importantly, I also want to thank my parents. They invested in and supported me and if it wasn’t for them, none of this would have been possible. Words can’t express how thankful I am for them.

To all of our current subscribers, the May “HQ” Crate will ship on schedule between May 10th & 15th. With that being said, this will be the final crate. All subscribers will be eligible to receive a refund, subscription change, or ProShop credit for any outstanding shipments. We do have past crate, SnackPack, and ProShop inventory available for purchase as long as supplies last. We’ll be contacting all of you over the course of the next few days, but you are more than welcome to contact us via email in the meantime: support@gamercrates.com.
